Meg's Baby Brunch!

So on Sunday the 14, we had Baby Brunch for Prego Mego at Blue Mesa in Fort Worth. It was great. The idea of it is fab! There was only a handful of us, so instead of a huge shower for only 5 people we opted for BABY BRUNCH! What a great one it was! Food was fab, no clean up, and most important....Meg had a great time. She got a lot of essentials for everyday use, which in my opinion is the most needed because those things you use everyday all the time! We can't wait for Kaitlyn to get here! She is going to be a great blessing to our growing family! I am also attaching pictures to this....

Swim Lessons!

So Brooke is on her second week of private swim lessons, and she is doing great! She loves her instructor and she swam today about 5 feet long with no life jacket or anything, just googles! She was kicking and ice cream scooping (as her instructor calls it) like a PRO! I am so proud of her. And private lessons are well worth the extra money verses group lessons. She went to Chuckie Cheese with her Uncle Zach and Aunt Laina on Saturday, and he text me with her quote of the day. "I have to go to school because I get on my Mommy's nerves, she still loves me, but i get on her nerves." Thanks Brooke! I feel like number one mom now! I am attaching swim pictures with this blog! FINALLY!

Ok, so I have not posted in awhile...sorry, but have been soooo busy. Anyway, Brooke is officially out of school for the summer, and that means, that officially she will be in kindergarten! I am so excited, but sad.....I want another baby...BAD. June is such a busy month for us. We have baby showers, a wedding, dad's bday, and softball tournaments. July wont be as busy, so I am going to make a couple of road trips with Brooke hopefully since Jim is working out to town. I am hoping to go to Austin to see my bestie! And a trip to Houston to visit the in-laws, and a day trip to see Sara! Yes, we want to see you! Projects around the house are slowly getting done. Jim tiled the back porch with granite and he ran like 5 pieces short, so now we have to order then...which means that project wont be done til next spring! LOL....that is joke bc Jim is notorious for starting a project and finishing 9 months later! Work is picking up big time, which I am so thankful for! Since I got my first contract, we will be on site in the end of July! WHOOO WHO! I am totally stoked about that. Jairo came to town and we spent the day with Linda, Kelli's mom(Kelli was our best friend that passed a little over two years ago). It was great, and sad all at the same time. But she seams to be doing really well. I miss Kelli sooooooo much, and not a day goes by that I don't think of her. Jairo and I had a great time together. I miss him so much too since he is in Miami living it up! Other than that, note toooooooo much happening around here. But ready for summer for sure!

BACK!

So we got home from Mexico today and we had soooo much fun! I am going to post a couple of pics on here. The people were so nice, and the resort was AMAZING! I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Riviera Maya! I do want to mention that they totally get on those free drinks....The second day I had 7 appletinis in an hour and a half....i dont remember much after that. Jim says he shoveled me to the room and put me in the shower, where I proceeded to throw up on myself. Don't remember that thank goodness. I just woke up sitting indian style in the shower with my head down....it is still hurting to this day! LOL....but we really enjoyed ourselves. We are so glad to be home and be back with the kiddo! We missed her like crazy!

sooooooo........passport came in and we are booked!!!!!!! going on monday the 5th!!! so excited, yet a little scared. here is my list of must haves.....swimsuit, toxic suit, full body armor, and machine guns....after that we are good to go! LOL.

I so need to vent so here it is! I hate Jim being the coach of his mens softball team bc we have to put up the money for everything. with that being said, we ordered new jerseys from boombah.com and they totally screwed it up and bc it has already shipped i cannot just cancel it. i chewed out the rep from there royally, and all he could say was when we get the package back we will refund your account the 220.00 bucks! but they charged me for shirts that never shipped and charged me after i cancelled the frickin order!!!! and to add to that my passport did not come in today, and i am getting close to the wire bc we are to leave for Mexico on may 4th. however, we will be there for cinco de mayo which is totally cool! if we get to go bc the state department SUCKS on getting ppl the things that they have ordered and paid for! on a lighter note, brooke start dance class today. it is a mix of ballet and tap! she is totally excited for and so am i! she did not like the fact that the tap shoes are black and not pink :(.....LOL. i am still sticking with the bosu class and it is hard, but damnit i am gonna do it! i can feel a difference from it verses just going in and doing cardio on machines and circuits on the weights. So YAY!

So, my passport has not came in yet, and I so need to book our trip. It is two weeks from Monday, and I still don't have my passport! I now also bc of this hate the USPS and the IRS. Oh, and the State department! Anyway, it has been a rainy weekend so far, but I love it. Our softball games were cancelled bc of the rain, so that means we have more rain out makeups.....grrrr. I just wanna say, I am soooooo glad that my family isn't the only dysfunctional one out there! It happens to everyone, and for that I am relieved. I have a few black sheep in my family, and that maybe more than everyone elses one black sheep, but they still have at least one. Let me just say, I am sooooo glad it is not me! I got a crazy sister, an aunt that has been dying, lying, and addicted for 12 years, and an uncle who is the biggest religious hypocrite EVER! That religious hypocrite also applies to my "sickly" aunt. I truly feel sorry for their parents! I hope we raise Brooke to be better than that, I hope! I just wanna shake all three of them and scream at them, "what the f&*# are you doing? you are F-ing retarded!" If I could just do that, then I would feel better! HAHAHAHA! MEXICO

So, one passport in and one to go. Mine should be in tomorrow and then we book and on May 4 thru 8th we are in MEXICO!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY EASTER!!

I just wanted to tell my few Internet followers to have a happy Easter, and be safe and dry. Sara, have been so busy with the family, but maybe tomorrow evening if you guys are done with your Easter festivities, we can get to get together. I think I am only like 20 miles from you so hopefully we can get together. I will call you or something.

No seriously, no planes, but we are going to Houston! We are gonna spend 4 days there! Brooke is sooooo excited. We will be in Pasadena. We leave today around 4ish so we should be there around 8ish.

Passports

Oh, I forgot to mention we have both applied for our passports and are awaiting them to be delivered....as soon as we know that then we are going to Mexico!!! YAY for us!

Baseball Season

So, MLB is upon us and that is all we do is watch baseball. Well sports all together. Every time a season ends another begins....grrr. And on top of that, Jim plays stinking baseball tourneys every weekend, and don't get me wrong I love going and watching....but it has became a nonstop ordeal. Still looking for patio furniture, and at this point I am wondering if we are every going to find something we both like. He goes for function and simplicity....I on the other hand like beauty and style. So there you see our issue. School is almost out and Brooke cant wait, but I am beginning to rethink this stay at home mother thing. I don't know if I can handle it without a break all day! Does that sound as bad as it looks in writing? I love my kid, but I am human. Anyway, everyone else is blogging about babies and pregnancy, I got nothing! Anyway, that is all for now. sleepy sunday

So, we spent all day at the softball tourney and got home at midnight. I am soooo tired. We now have to go to the rent house to do some last minute things before the new tenant moves in, BUT we got a tenant finally! YAY. Brooke spent Friday night with Jim's parents and they took her to see Mother Goose at Casa Manana and she loved it! Then on Saturday her and her gma planted flowers, colored eggs, and had an easter egg hunt. She came home with all kinds of goodies. But she had a blast as usual. We are now on the hunt for patio furniture. It is our 7 year anniversary gift to each other, and we cannot find anything we both like. It seems like we have looked everywhere. So we will continue to look. Jim applied for his passport on Friday, and I will on Monday bc that is when my birth certificate will be in. So hopefully on monday after we know how long it is going to take for both of them, we can book our trip! And we got our taxes finished and we dont owe as much money as we thought so we are both so thankful for that! Have I mentioned that I hate the IRS! Very much! Anyway, today is going to be a normal sunday for us except going to the rent house. We clean, do laundry, yard work etc....Anyone have patio furniture suggestions please comment. We have looked at lowes, home depot, sams club, big lots, and walmart. Still are going to garden ridge, but other than that no idea!

SICK KID AND TAXES

So, Brooke is sneezing and coughing today....just allergies, but i kept her home anyway. I dont like it when my baby, yes she is five but she is still my baby, is sick. She is in a great mood, just sneezing like crazy. So, I went to get my taxes filed yesterday.......and I dont owe as much money as I thought!!! I was sooooooo excited. I mean, we never get money back except once....but that was the year we bought our second house...and that is why. But, we are so happy now bc we dont owe as much, and so we can ease up on the budget. I do want to add that I still hate the IRS, and anyone associated with them! HAHAHA. I want to go workout, but she refuses to go the YMCA childcare center. She says they just sit there, and she needs to entertained. HA! She gets bored. What can I say to that? I do have a ton of paperwork to do here though so maybe it is good I is good I stay home. Anyway, that is it for now.....Thank you...Come again!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

So today is our 7th anniversary! YAY! He sent me 12 long stem roses which were beautiful! I can't believe 7 years have gone by since we got married. It has been a great 7 though! He is a wonderful husband and daddy and I feel so blessed to have him in my life. I don't think it gets any better than this! I love Him....

CRAP!

Ok, so this is a little venting. Here we go!!! So I cannot stand it when people use other people. And there are a couple of different people I am talking about. When people do things for you, whether they are financial, emotional, or spiritual support, you don't take advantage of that. It bugs the ever living crap out of me. It hurts people so bad, and the person doing the wrong does not think twice about it. They have no remorse for hurting the ones that love and cared for them. All they think about is themselves. You wanna be a screwup fine, but do it on your own dime and time! And when you get screwed over, you will ALWAYS think twice about helping someone else even if you think in your head they will never do that to you. For someone to use a whole group of people....well that is just excuse the language, but FUCKED UP! And for those of you who are doing this kind of stuff, well FUCK OFF! And by-the-way, go New Jersey Fakeouts! They got 3rd in the tourney today! Thank you...Come again!

FRIDAY

So, today is FRIDAY!! So ready for the weekend. We had dinner last night for Jim's birthday, and it was fun as usual! We have softball games tonight and it is cold outside, which I dont like. Anyway....Our 7 year anniversary Monday! YAY for us! And I just want to express how much I cannot stand the passport office! It takes soooo long to get one, and now we have to push back our trip to Mexico because of it. Only by a couple of weeks but still!! GRRRRR. anyway, that is it for now!

Today

So, this is my first blog and I am not sure what to do. LOL. But I will Say that today is my husbands 28th birthday, and I hope he has the best day because he is the BEST. Brooke and I are going to bake him a cake, and if you know me, I DO NOT bake at all so this should be very interesting. I also, have became a list freak. I make a list for everything, and I carry note pads around with me everywhere I go just so that I can have them on me! But it helps when I have a ton to do like usual.
